At graduation on Saturday, an uncle from California mused at the fact that our school really is a special place; it refreshed him to hear the emphasis at Commencement center on the goodness of the people going out into the world, not merely their academic standing or prowess. His observation is a testimony to what we hold dear here: challenge, both intellectual and emotional; commitment to self and to community; rights and responsibilities.
I am joined by my faculty, students, and parents in having things to say about how TCS shapes not only learners but thinkers, doers, be-ers, people who will shake up the world, take it by storm, calm roiling waters, problem solve, invent, analyze, care for, make peace, question, listen, hug. We think this space is right for our musings. Let us know what you think!
